More than "Realtors" ...
Specialists in Urban Living Options
|
Helen and Larry Prier were bitten by the "urban lifestyle"
bug long before they moved to Phoenix.
Helen grew up in Sydney, Australia and Larry in Denver, Colorado. In
these and other cities they've lived in, they watched decaying inner
city neighborhoods transformed into desirable, fashionable places to
live.
Historic homes were restored to their original glory and large buildings
that were rehabilitated into city lofts, creating an exciting urban
landscape.

"On
both sides of the Pacific, I found the movement toward Urban Living
to be dynamic, fresh and exciting."

Our
'Story' ... in F.Q. Story that is!
After moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1991, Prier Realty LLC (now named
Urban Living Properties LLC) was established. The Prier's moved into
a beautiful Historic home in the F.Q. Story Historic District in Phoenix.
They later purchased a neglected 1929 Tudor Revival in the same neighborhood
and spent six months restoring it back to its original charm.
"Over
the years, we've seen people who already live in the Valley and those
moving here from other states, drawn to live near the heart of the
city. This gradual and exciting movement back to the city core from
the suburbs has increased the demand for urban properties in historic
areas as well as contemporary lofts and condos," says Helen.
Swept along by these
exciting trends and their love of the urban lifestyle, the Prier's community
involvement grew quickly. As their network of contacts and expertise
expanded, their real estate company became keenly focused on Metropolitan
Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale.
"In
light of our ever-growing focus and expertise in the Urban Living
market in Phoenix, we changed the company's name to Urban Living Properties
LLC and developed the website, LoveUrbanLiving.com." -
Larry Prier
Drawing from their
years of real estate experience in the urban areas of the Valley, their
hands-on understanding of rehabilitating historic homes and involvement
in urban community affairs, the Priers assembled a series of FREE
Seminars as a way to share the treasure trove of information they've
gathered over the years.
Since 1997, they've conducted hundreds of these Seminars on topics ranging
from "Historic Preservation in Phoenix" and "How to Rehabilitate
a Historic Home" to "Contemporary Urban Lifestyles".

"I
love these neighborhoods, the houses, the friendly people and the feeling
of stepping back in time to a place where neighbors knew and cared about
each other. On any given day, you could always have a chat with a friend
next door. Today, the Historic neighborhoods still have that feeling
about them."
